The Buoy This Week:

April 29, 2009

Buoy redeployed April 22, 2009! We deployed the buoy again on April 22, a little later this year for a variety of reasons. As usual some interesting diving trying to get straight all the mooring gear we leave out over winter. The winter markers of one of the two train wheels used to anchor the buoy had disappeared. We swam southwest on the compass from the northeast anchor, hard to do in the best of visibility, and actally found the other mooring gear. Deployment went great on Wednesday April 22 and thanks to Tom Gregory, Dave Shay, and Deb Goodwin for doing all the hard work.

As usual please contact me if you have any questions,

All the best,

Ru (Ru.Morrison@unh.edu)
