The UNH Center for Coastal Ocean Observation and
Analysis has as its primary mission to develop and implement
an observing system for monitoring the coastal marine ecosystem
in the western Gulf of Maine.

organizations in the northeast to form a regional coastal ocean
observing system as part of the Integrated Ocean Observing System
(IOOS).
